Pre-1600 Classics

Really Old Classics
Challenge: 1 – 100 classics from pre-1600s.

This challenge is incredibly well timed because I’ve been wanting to read The Canterbury Tales for a while now. I do read a lot of classics, but I don’t think I’ve ever strayed into the really, really old ones.

  1. The Canterbury Tales, Geoffrey Chaucer
  2. Utopia, Sir Thomas More
  3. The Divine Comedy, Dante
  4. Aeneid, Virgil
  5. Metamorphoses, Ovid
  6. The Odyssey, Homer
